Stitching and a giveaway

Hello all I hope you are enjoying the sunshine we have here in the UK. It's still freezing here so I certainly haven't been out lol!!!!

I have another finish here for you Lizzie * Kate February. I love these patterns and am going to do all 12 but the rest will have to wait until after Christmas now.

I have a small giveaway. I found these kits in my stash and was wondering if anyone would like them. They are all brand new but none are my style at all. I do not wish anything for them I just don't want to throw them away. The only thing is, I can only post in the UK.

Happy Stitching

January L * K

Well life has been manic here and I lost my stitchy bug so I really had nothing to post sorry. I will be blogging at least once a week from now on and have quite a lot to show you.

As I have said before I am not a great 'finisher' but I am really pleased with this finish. The fabric the pinkeep is lying on is what I used for the back - it's actually my sons old jasper conran pyjamas that I loved the pattern of lol.

I will be going around blogs today catching up with you all. Have a lovely Sunday

Hello

Hi there guys sorry I haven't been a round for months. The computer died and I had no funds to replace it until recently so have had no internet access :-(.

But because of that I have had many stitching finishes. Please come back in a few days and I have will have new posts up with pictures x

June Goals

Are we really in June? Where has the last 6 months gone? I hope everyone is having a wonderful week and your enjoying better weather than we are as we have rain :-(.

I have decided to start setting myself some goals so here is this months

1 - June Biscornu

2 - June Xmas ornament

3 - Tooth fairy design for my son

4 - A needle roll finish

5 - A floss tag finish

6 - Sylvias SAL

7 - My other car is a broom L*K design

8 - French angel

It seems alot but as you know I only stitch small designs so it shouldn't take me long (hopefully). I am also hoping to start a slightly larger design it's a pastel sampler from Crossstitcher magazine in the UK. It's not very big but I am hoping it will help me with some different stitches.

I am spending the afternoon sorting out my threads getting them in order. If by the end of the month I have completed my goals I am going to have a small giveaway. I have some charts that I have used / won't stitch and some other bits.

Take care and I will be back soon.

Two finishes

Gosh it's hot here at the moment. I love sitting in the evening with the doors open and the breeze coming in. The only thing I don't like is the spiders EEEEKKKK!!!!

I finished these two Lizzie Kate designs this weekend for the teachers at the end of term. They were such a easy and delightful stitch. I used my own colour combo by just going through the scrap drawer.

I just need to finish them into pinkeeps now. I am not very good at finishing so I am going to practise on some other finished pieces first.

Thanks for looking and take care.

Biscornu

Hello if your in the UK I hope you are enjoying the glorious weather!!! I have been busy out in the garden, this is our first year growing veg and they are really coming along.

I have been stitching up a storm recently I just need to kick my butt in to gear and do some 'finishing'.

One of my recent finishes is this biscornu. It is a freebie but I am not sure where from sorry. I used a variegated thread and a scrap of aida.

The photos don't show it but the aida is a very pale lilac.

One day I would like to have a basket of biscornu as I love them. I have a million projects on the go at the moment and am trying to work on some kind of rotation I will see how that works lol.

Until next time take care

Hello anyone still read this?

Gosh it has been so long. I am so sorry the computer has had an 'illness' so we have been without the net for a while. It's not very good to start a blog and then disappear is it - sorry.

Well while I have been without the net I have had loads of time to stitchso I have many things to show you over the next few days. This first one is a stitchery. A friend was moving into her own home and was having a cupcake kitchen so I stitched on a tea towel for her. She was over the moon.

The chart is from Lollychops.com

This was a very simple stitch and the finished result was great. i will certainly be doing some more.

I am now going to have a look at all of your blogs to seee what I have missed as I have not been around for so long.
